EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCES WITH YOUR HOSTS

Brent C — Dec 2019 — Pekin, IN Excellent! We were very surprised by the elegance of the the Blackberry Blossom suite! The pictures don’t do it justice. We did not want to leave. Our hosts, Rich and Carol, were very gracious and made our stay very pleasant. We will definitely be back again!

Relaxing stay Stayed here while driving through town on January 17th. The accomodations are quite luxurious. Carol was a lovely host. Enjoyed meeting Ruby and Josie as well. Looking forward to returning in the future!

We had a great stay in this quite, clean, safe neighborhood. The backyard wild bunnies were an adorable touch.

Spacious place in a convenient location. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating with great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area. Overall, I was more than happy with my stay!

Art Destination on the Bourbon Trail It isn’t often that we have stayed at such an incredibly welcoming bed and breakfast. Clean and luxurious, large rooms with tons of space! Carol and Rich are both professional artists, one of the reasons we picked this B&B, and their home is filled with artwork (Ansel Adams print included in the collection), along with their own art. So much fun to listen to their adventures! Make sure to ask 😁 I don’t know if we got lucky or what, but breakfast was amazing! Smoked salmon on a potato pancake with crème fraîche, fresh dill and capers. I opted for the poached egg on top! YUM!!! I paint landscapes myself and I can’t wait to come back and take one of Rich’s painting workshops. It’s so beautiful and there is a working studio on the property called the Art Distillery. Highly recommend!!!!

Luxurious home and delicious food The bedroom was well made and I felt right at home. Carol and Rich hosted us, and are some of the most delightful people I've encountered at a bed and breakfast. Carol presented us some of her artwork, cyanotypes, that would be a treat in any home. The breakfast we had in the morning, lox with capers and eggs over hashbrowns, was divine. If you're looking to get away for a little while, you can stay here and grab a glass of bourbon at any one of the distilleries around including Maker's Mark. Would be a treat for anyone to experience.
